" Simon and his team were instrumental in delivering the Barrow Island jetty and heavy lift facility- one of the most complex marine construction projects I’ve worked on.
The works required innovative survey solutions, including real-time wireless data to guide underwater rock placement, caisson positioning and alignment of critical structures within tight tolerances.
Only one of 52 caissons required repositioning, despite the complexity of controlled sinking and placement up to 18 metres below the surface.
The level of accuracy, planning and execution from the survey team played a key role in achieving successful outcomes across the project."
